ICC Spray
Pipe Lining Robot
Structural Rehabilitation of Sewers, Storms and Culverts
Robotic spray lining of pipes has been developed by ICC since 2017 and has now become an important component of our business.
Our liners are fully structural, made from Polyurea and spray-applied robotically inside the pipe. Our products are ideally suited for large diameter pipes, typically 1 meter and larger in diameter.
The technical term for our liner is SIP-TPFL (Spray-In-Place Thermoset Plastic Flexible Liner). The City of Toronto has developed a specification for the application of this product in TS 4.14.
A key advantage of our liner is that it is flexible (15% deflection with no cracking) yet meets or exceeds all the engineering specifications (tensile strength, flexural modulus, flexural strength, tensile creep) for a structural liner.
Our liner has been installed in corrugated steel pipe (CSP) and reinforced concrete pipe (RCP).
